Our goal at Live WKND is to make your event ticket purchasing experience easy, efficient and equitable, so we can get you on your way to live events as quickly as possible. The following purchasing policies and terms of use are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase process on Live WKND. Live WKND is a ticketing service which sells tickets on behalf of itself, promoters, bands, teams, artists and venues. Live WKND does not represent any of these promoters, bands, teams, artists or venues and consequently does not set ticket prices or determine seating locations. Tickets to an event may be sold through various sources, including other online ticketing agencies, charge by phone, ticket outlets and box offices. Not all distribution points necessarily access the same ticketing system and ticket inventory for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may become available prior to an event; however Live WKND does not control this inventory or its availability for sale through Live WKND. All shows, as well as venue locations and seat locations are subject to change.
Tickets purchased on Live WKND are subject to a per ticket service charge and a per order handling charge.
From time to time, Live WKND may advertise upcoming events and the date on which tickets are expected to become available for purchase. These “on sale” dates are tentative and subject to change at any time by the promoter, band, team, artist or venue arranging ticketing for the event.
As a convenience to our users, Live WKND accepts MasterCard, Visa, and American Express credit cards for payment of purchases made through Live WKND.
When purchasing tickets on Live WKND, an individual purchaser or household may be limited to a specified number of tickets for each event. This limitation and the terms thereof are included on the event page and are verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.
If you chose to have your tickets delivered by Mail, You should receive your tickets one week prior to the event. From time to time, users will input incorrect billing or credit card information for a ticket order. This incorrect information can delay or make impossible processing and delivery of tickets. In the event that Live WKND becomes aware of the fact that it has received incorrect information, Live WKND will attempt to contact the user by e-mail to resolve the discrepancy.
Tickets held at Will Call are usually available one hour prior to the doors opening for the event. You will need to present both picture identification for the purchaser of the tickets and the credit card to which the tickets were charged in order to receive the tickets purchased. Before completing any purchase of tickets through Live WKND, carefully review your event and seating selection. Pursuant to the policies and procedures established by our clients, and the agreements between Live WKND and those clients, Live WKND is prohibited from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased; regardless of whether that ticket has been lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
From time to time, previously scheduled events may be cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, band, artists or venue due to weather conditions, safety considerations or other issues making the scheduled event impossible or impracticable. When an event cancellation occurs, Live WKND makes every effort to ensure you receive a prompt refund of the ticket price. Service Fees, Shipping Fees and/or Handling Fees will not be refunded. Events scheduled for outdoor venues are sold “rain or shine” and there will be no refunds issued for rain cancelled shows. If an event is cancelled, please Contact Us for information on receiving a refund. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue, promoter, team, band or artist may set refund limitations. Contact Us for exact instructions. In any event, Live WKND will not be liable to user for any loss, cost, damage associated with any cancellation or postponement of a scheduled event.
You agree that you will not utilize any robot, spider, other automatic device or manual process to disrupt the normal operations of Live WKND or to copy the web pages and content contained herein. You further agree that you will not copy, reproduce, alter, change or otherwise display any content (other than for your own personal use) from our website without the express prior written permission of Live WKND. Any illegal or other use of Live WKND, including but not limited to unauthorized ticket purchases, unauthorized linking to Live WKND, or the use of any robot, spider or other manipulative practice will be investigated and appropriate civil, criminal or equitable legal action sought. In addition to civil, criminal or equitable remedies, Live WKND may, in its sole discretion, cancel any and all ticket orders which it believes to have been placed in violation of the policies and terms herein or through otherwise fraudulent means.
Live WKND does not and cannot guarantee that the website will be continuously available and without error. This website is offered to you “as-is,” “as-available,” and without warranty. Live WKND disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Live WKND will not be liable to you for any damages suffered in connection with your use of this website.
Live WKND further disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions, and conduct of any other users of this website, the promoters, bands, teams, artists and venues with whom Live WKND contracts and advertisers or sponsors of this website.
Except in jurisdictions where limitations on liability are restricted or prohibited, Live WKND will not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, even if Live WKND has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
All attendees of Live WKND events enter the event at their own risk.
In the event of any dispute between you and Live WKND, your use of this website indicates your consent to jurisdiction in the City of Iowa City, County of Johnson, and the State of Iowa and that adjudication of any and all disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Iowa without regard to conflict of law’s provisions.
Live WKND, and accompanying designs and software, are the exclusive property of Live Weekend, L.L.C. a Iowa corporation. Live WKND and accompanying designs associated with that name are the registered dba of Live Weeke nd , L.L.C. The software associated with the operation of this website is copyrighted and owned by Live Weekend, L.L.C.
Live WKND sells tickets that are intended for the use of purchaser only. Tickets made available through this site are intended only for customers that are actually planning on attending the shows requested. It is strictly prohibited to resell any tickets obtained through Live WKND for more than the purchase price. If you are found to be reselling, trading or brokering tickets that you purchased through our site for profit, Live WKND may at its discretion cancel your ticket order and all other pending orders in your name. This cancellation will result in a refund of the total price for the tickets minus a $10.00 per ticket processing fee and any shipping fees that have been incurred with respect to the order. We reserve the right to investigate all orders suspected to be in violation of this policy.
